The 2013 BMW M135i will be powered by a 320 bhp turbo-charged 3.0-liter 6-cylinder matted to either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic that will run from 0-62 mph in 4.9 seconds.
The BMW M135i Concept combines a more aggressive exterior with a twin-turbocharged inline-6 cylinder engine, for what should be scintillating performance.
When is a sedan a sports car?
When it’s got a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 pumping out 560 hp between 5750 and 7000 rpm and 500 lb.-ft. of torque between 1500 and 5750 rpm, seven-speed automated dual-clutch gearbox, electronically controlled suspension, differential and steering.
BMW reports the 2012 M5 will get to 100 km/h (or 62 mph) in 4.4 seconds and have a top speed, electronically limited of course, of 155 mph.

Poised to reign supreme once again - 2012 BMW M5 Concept
When the first-generation BMW M5 arrived in the U.S. in 1987, it essentially created a new class of high-performance sedan. The super sports sedan concept continued to evolve reaching the point where the last-generation M5 came with a Formula 1-inspired V-10 engine.
The fifth-generation BMW M5 will come with a twin-turbocharged V-8, expected to produce around 555 horsepower. And even with the extra output, the new engine will get better fuel economy than its predecessor, with emissions reduced by 25 percent.
BMW has begun selling a new M Performance exhaust system for the M3 Coupe, Sedan and Convertible.
Making its Detroit debut, the 2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe is just the latest M to lust after.
