The Italian styling school IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) received this simple directive from Fiat: “Express the pure unadulterated spirit of Abarth, which is renowned worldwide for compact, intelligent, record-breaking sports cars.”
Called the Scorp-Ion, it’s an electric 2-seater with motors at each wheel and lithium-ion batteries under the luggage compartment behind the cabin.
For those looking for lots of grip in a compact package, the 2013 Fiat 500 AWD makes a tempting proposition.
