German tuning company G-Power has used a BMW M6 as the base for what the company bills as the world’s fastest four seat coupe, the G-Power M6 Hurricane RR. A twin-supercharged 800-bhp V-10 engine motivates this big Bimmer to a top speed of more than 229 mph. In case you wondered, the power increase is 293-bhp over the standard (and none-too-slow) base M6 coupe.
The 2011 Volkswagen Golf R has a turbocharged direct-injected 2.0-liter inline-4 that feeds a peak of 270 bhp through the 4Motion all-wheel-drive system.
