With 600 combined horspower from a twin-turbo V-8 hybrid, the Lamborghini Urus Concept looks as if an Aventador has been dropped on an SUV chassis.
The 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 delivers a staggering 2.7-seconds 0-60 time and a quarter-mile clocking of 10.4 sec. at a terminal speed of 136 mph.
The name of Lamborghini’s latest creation is impressive, with a letter-, number- and fancy-Italian-name designation all squeezed together in harmony. Essentially, the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante is a convertible version of the Gallardo Superleggera. While the folks at Lamborghini must have a perfectly sound reason not to call it a Superleggera Convertible, it doesn’t take away from the fact that this is one remarkable automobile.
Powering the new Lamborghini flagship is an all-new V-12 engine. The powerplant is capable of pumping out 704 bhp at 8250 rpm and 509 lb.-ft of torque at 5500 rpm.
